Configuring
Outlook Express as a POP3 client From the Outlook Express main
menu, click "Tools" -> "Accounts" -> "Add". Select "Mail" from
the drop-down menu:
Key in your Display name and e-mail address as shown in the next
2 screen-shots:
Select POP3 for your server type and key in your incoming server
and outgoing server as shown below
Click on "Next" to complete your configuration.
The following should appear under the account properties (click
Tools, Accounts, select your friendly account name and click Properties
button) after you click Finish. You can set your "Reply Address"
to xxxxxxx@valvolinecummins.com where xxxxxx is your POP3 account
name.
Type in your Mail Account name through which your profile will
be created.
Check "Leave a copy of messages on server" if you want the messages
to stay on the Exchange server. Leave this box empty if you wish
to download the messages permanently to your local hard disk.
In case of using same SMTP settings as POP, check mark the option "My server
requires authentication" button.
